Before you begin integrating Calendly, ensure you're aware of the LeadJig user account housing the campaigns. This step is crucial. Failure to complete it accurately will result in the Calendly page not appearing on the intended landing pages. Confirm you're using the correct account by navigating to a current or recent campaign. Once there, click on the name listed beneath the campaign name.
Once you click on this name, you'll be directed to the appropriate preferences necessary to finalize the integration. Next, locate and select the "Integrations" tab.
Once you've clicked on the "Integrations" tab, scroll down the page until you spot the Calendly box. Then, click on "Activate" to proceed.
From there you'll be prompted to log in to your Calendly account. Alternatively, if you haven't created one yet, you'll have the option to do so directly from that window.
Once you've logged into your account, you'll briefly encounter this loading page.
After you logged in you will be prompted with the steps to complete the integration.
The initial step is to choose the event type available in your Calendly account. If you haven't created an event type in Calendly yet, please navigate to your Calendly account and create one.
Please choose your event type from the dropdown menu.
Once you've selected your event type, please click on the hyperlink in "Step 3."
This will redirect you to your Calendly account.
Find the event type you selected in "Step 2" within the LeadJig Calendly settings. Then, click on the small gear icon next to the event type.
Then you want to click on "Edit".
After clicking on "Edit," the event type settings page will open up.
From there, you'll want to select "Booking page options."
In the "Booking page options" under Booking form > Invitee questions. Click on the three dots next to the "Name, Email"
Then click "Edit"
A "Edit Name Question" pop-up box will appear. From there you want to click the drop down box.
In the drop down select "First Name, Last Name" and after you clicked on "First Name, Last Name" you will see it in the selected box. Finally click "Done"
The following step is optional. If you wish to add any questions, you may do so.
Here's an example of how to add a phone number field/question: Click on the three dots next to "Q1: Please share anything that will help prepare for our meeting," then select "Edit."
In the "Edit Question" pop-up box, for the question type, select "Phone Number," and for the "Answer Type," choose "Phone Number" from the dropdown menu.
This is how the text box and dropdown box should look like, with the appropriate selections made for the phone number question.
Please follow the rest of the steps below as these are not optional.
Please go back to the "Event Type Summary" by clicking "Event Type Summary" in the top left corner.
After you go back to the "Event Type Summary" page. Click on the "Scheduling settings".
After selecting "Scheduling settings," click on "Use invitee's" under "Additional options > Time zone display."
Please switch from "Automatically detect and show the times in my invitee's time zone" to "Lock the timezone (best for in-person events)."
Once you've changed that setting to "Lock the timezone (best for in-person events)," click on the "Save and Close" button.
Now, return to the LeadJig tab. If you don't see the "Calendly Integration Set-Up" window when you return to the LeadJig tab, click on the "Settings" button within the Calendly box.
Next, click on the "Start Test" button.
Test your set-up by creating an appointment there. Results may take a few minutes to process. (A test appointment will be created in Calendly but not in LeadJig. It can be deleted.)
If Calendly doesn't activate immediately, please allow a few minutes for the integration to complete as it should activate shortly.
Once the status displays as "Activated," LeadJig is fully integrated with your Calendly.
Before closing the "Calendly Integration Set-Up" window, please remember to click the "Done Testing" button.
